Frequently asked questions

Find quick answers about managed print, workplace IT, meeting rooms, visitor systems and how we support UK businesses.

FAQs

Common questions about managed print, photocopiers, toner and UK-wide support.

What is a managed print service?

A managed print service means we take responsibility for your print environment, including device supply, installation, monitoring, maintenance and consumables. You pay a predictable monthly cost and we handle the rest.

Can you take over management of our existing printers?

In most cases, yes. We assess your current fleet and advise whether existing hardware can be brought under a managed service or whether a refresh makes better long-term sense.

How do you manage consumables?

Our monitoring tools track toner and supply levels across your fleet. When levels drop to a set threshold, we automatically dispatch replacements so your team is never left without supplies.

Do you cover multiple office locations?

Yes. Our managed print services cover UK-wide deployments, including multi-site organisations with different device types across locations.

How is pricing structured?

Managed print is typically structured with a hardware cost (purchase, rent or lease) plus a cost-per-print that covers support and consumables. We explain the model clearly during your consultation.

What brands do you supply?

We partner with Sharp, Epson and Lexmark for print and MFD hardware, and can recommend the right mix for your volumes, security needs and budget.

Can you help reduce print costs?

Yes. Fleet optimisation reviews usage data to right-size devices, remove waste and place the right printers where teams actually need them.

Do you offer secure print release?

Yes. Secure print release stops confidential documents sitting on output trays. Users authenticate at the device before jobs print.

Is cloud printing available for hybrid teams?

Yes. Cloud print management lets staff print securely from office or home without relying on local print servers at every site.

How quickly can you respond to a breakdown?

Service response times depend on your agreement, but UK engineer support and proactive monitoring are core parts of our managed print offering.

Request a quote online or speak to an expert. We will ask about user numbers, roles, locations and any existing standards you need to align with.

FAQs

What meeting room technology do you install?

We design and install video conferencing, wireless presentation systems and certified Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet hardware for huddle spaces and boardrooms.

Can you standardise rooms across multiple sites?

Yes. We supply certified Teams Rooms hardware with one-touch join, central management and UK installation and support.

Can you upgrade an existing meeting room?

Wireless presentation lets users share their screen without hunting for cables or adapters. It suits hybrid meetings where guests join from laptops or tablets.

Do you provide ongoing support after installation?

Yes. UK-based support is available after install, including remote troubleshooting and on-site engineer visits where required.

How long does a typical room installation take?

Timelines depend on room count and complexity. A single huddle space may be completed in a day; multi-site rollouts are planned in phases.

FAQs

Help with digital sign-in, badge printing, health and safety compliance and GDPR-friendly visitor records.

What is a digital visitor management system?

It replaces the paper visitor book with branded digital check-in, host notifications and a live register of who is on site.

Is digital sign-in GDPR compliant?

When configured correctly, digital sign-in supports UK GDPR with consent capture, retention rules, encrypted storage and audit trails. We help you set policies that match your needs.

Can visitors print badges at reception?

Yes. Badge printing at sign-in gives clear identification, with optional photo ID and expiry times for contractors or temporary access.

Do you support contractor and delivery sign-in flows?

Yes. Separate flows can capture company, purpose of visit, safety briefings and policy acknowledgements for contractors and deliveries.

Can the system notify hosts automatically?

Yes. Hosts can be notified by email or SMS when their visitor arrives, reducing waiting time at reception.

Is there an evacuation register?

Yes. A live on-site register helps fire marshals see who is in the building during an evacuation drill or real event.

Can we capture health and safety briefings?

Yes. Visitors can acknowledge safety policies at check-in, with timestamped records stored for compliance.

Does it work for multi-site organisations?

Yes. Central reporting across sites is available, with consistent branding and policies at each location.

What hardware is required at reception?

Typically a tablet or kiosk, optional badge printer and network connection. We advise on layout and hardware during scoping.

How do we request a visitor system demo?

Contact us for a no-obligation discussion. We will ask about visitor volumes, sites, compliance requirements and existing processes.
